Features of the CRKT CEO series
The CEO's design is slim and elegant. This may make these knives less suitable for heavy-duty cutting tasks, but ideal for everyday cutting tasks like peeling an apple or opening a stack of letters. Within the CRKT CEO series, there are several versions: the original CRKT CEO, CRKT CEO Compact, CRKT CEO Flipper, CRKT CEO Microflipper and the CRKT CEO Bamboo. With the main differences being in size, blade shape and opening mechanism.
CRKT CEO steel types
Almost all CRKT CEOs have a blade made of stainless steel. Some versions have a dark coating to make the blade even more resistant to corrosion and scratches. You open the original CEO one-handed with a thumb stud. Newer versions of the CEO have a flipper opening mechanism.
CRKT CEO handle
In terms of handle material, you have the choice of a stainless steel handle with colourful FRN, G10 or aluminium handle scales. The CRKT CEOs have a sturdy liner lock that keeps the blade securely in place when in use.
