Features of the CJRB Hectare

With its compact size, the CJRB Hectare won't scare anyone. Thanks to the user-friendly design and deep-carry pocket clip, it is a pleasure to have with you every day. The Hectare is equipped with a thumb hole. In combination with the ceramic ball bearings, the blade is easy to open. The icing on the cake is the locking mechanism CJRB has chosen for this knife: a crossbar-lock. This locking mechanism is suitable for both left-handed and right-handed knife fans.

CJRB Hectare blade

The blade of the Hectare is 8 cm in length and 2.7 mm thick . This makes it suitable for heavier cutting tasks, while the high ‘sabre grind’ ensures a thin edge for improved cutting performance. Perfect when peeling an apple or opening a box. For the steel, CJRB often uses their own steel called AR-RPM9, a steel with a good combination of sharpness retention and corrosion resistance for the price. This steel is easy to sharpen.

CJRB Hectare handle

The handle of the Hectare is made of budget-friendly materials such as G10. G10 is a popular handle material that offers a good grip in practically every situation.

Expertly made in China

All CJRB knives are made in the same factory where Artisan Cutlery knives are made. Including the CJRB Hectare! CJRB knives are made of high-quality materials. All CJRB knives are machined and assembled in the same way, by the same craftsmen who work on the ‘premium’ Artisan Cutlery line. As a result, you will enjoy good workmanship for the price and higher quality than you are probably used to at this price.
