Victorinox SwissClassic 6.7116.34L2 3-piece vegetable knife set

This **Victorinox SwissClassic vegetable knife set** is comprised of three knives with coloured handles:

  * tomato knife with an 11 cm long blade and light red handle.
  * serrated vegetable knife with a 10 cm long blade and orange handle.
  * smooth vegetable knife with an 8 cm long blade and blue handle.

Because of the serrated blade you can easily cut through the hard skin of a tomato without having to apply too much pressure. As such you won't damage the tomato. But you can, of course, carry out more small cutting tasks with a tomato knife. You can, for instance, use it to cut onions or use it as a sausage knife. Or use it at the breakfast table to cut small buns. Because of the round tip you can also use the knife to spread out butter.

Like the tomato knife, the vegetable knife is enhanced with a serrated blade. In addition to the length of this blade the tip is also different: it is pointed. That is why this knife is great for small, precise cutting tasks. You can also easily use the pointed tip to pick up a piece of tomato or sausage. 

The smallest vegetable knife is enhanced with a smooth blade. It is very thin to prevent the knife from working its way through hard vegetables like a wedge. As such you truly cut the vegetables instead of breaking them.

## Victorinox SwissClassic handle

The knives from the [SwissClassic collection](/en/ct/victorinox-swissclassic.htm) are enhanced with a handle made from polypropylene. This material is light-weight and provides you with enough grip. Because of the slight curve in the handle the knives also feel great in hand.

## Victorinox SwissClassic blade

The blade is made from stainless steel and razor-sharp. The combination of this type of steel and the material used for the handle ensure that this knife is dishwasher proof.
