The **Yaxell Ran chef's knife with dimples 20 cm** is a Japanese chef's knife. The knife is a real all-rounder in the kitchen. Large enough to cut meat, fish or vegetables to size, small enough to cut herbs or cloves or garlic. The dimples in the blade ensure that no ingredients stick to the blade. The knife is easy to use thanks to the right balance and razor-sharp edge. 

## Yaxell Ran blade

The blade is made from 69 layers of damascus steel and a core of Japanese VG10 steel hardened up to 61HRC. VG10 is known to be very hard and can also easily be sharpened. The damascus steel is in nice contrast with the dark and light lines that run over the entire length of the blade. This combination of the type of steel and the finish ensures that the Yaxell Ran knives are efficient, but also look amazing.

## Yaxell Ran handle

The handles are made from micarta. Micarta is a material comprised of linen, impregnated with an epoxy resin. As such the material is very strong. It can handle its own and withstand water. Micarta is known to offer a lot of grip. Even if it is wet. The oval and round shape of the handle provides you with enough grip, making it very comfortable to use.
