The Spyderco Byrd Harrier 2 Stainless is a practical pocket knife for daily use. The finger grooves in the handle give you a good grip on the knife. The 8cr13MoV steel blade can easily be opened with the comet-shaped hole. When opened the blade is locked by a decent and reliable back-lock. As an extra safety precaution this back-lock has been enhanced with a so-called Boye-dent; a crescent-shaped cut-out that makes sure the knife won't close during heavy-duty use. The serrated edge is great when cutting through tougher materials such as rope and cardboard.
