KA-BAR Fighter 1269 Clippoint Black, fixed knife

The KA-BAR Fighter 1269 is very large and feels rock-solid. In terms of size this knife falls in between the KA-BAR 1217 and the KA-BAR Big Brother. The Fighter is also enhanced with the design features of both. The handle is enhanced with a knife guard to make sure you will never end up on the razor-sharp edge during heavy-duty use. The handle is made from Kraton. A rubber-like material that offers enough grip regardless of the circumstances. The blade is made from 1095 carbon steel. This steel, however, is not corrosion-resistant. Fortunately the blade is enhanced with a black coating to make sure maintenance is a lot easier.
