This **Flytanium CRKT Pilar Backspacer** is a nice backspacer for your CRKT Pilar. This backspacer will neatly fit around the standoffs to make sure they still determine the distance between the scales. This backspacer takes care of a nice dense construction to make sure dust won't get caught in between the scales. Of course it is mostly an aesthetic addition.

This backspacer is made from titanium. It has been enhanced with a stonewashed finish. This means that there are already traces of use to make sure new scratches won't stand out. A used look, straight from the box.

## Tips for installation

Adding new scales or other accessories is not without its risks! To prevent damage to screws and scales, always use suitable screwdrivers and never force anything. We like to add a little piece of plastic bag in between the bit and the screw to help prevent any damage to the screws. If the screws are stuck, it is important not to force them. Carefully heat them with a hairdryer or tap the back of the screwdriver to break the loctite.

Before you start tinkering, always check the manufacturer's warranty conditions: for some brands, the warranty expires the moment you start working on the knife yourself. Installing scales is at your own risk. We are not liable for damages that you may cause to the knife or the accessory.
