The **Extrema Ratio S-THIL Stonewashed** is a tactical back-up knife developed in collaboration with designer Thilo Arnd Schiller. The knife has a spear-point blade shape and a versatile sheath that can be carried on either side.



The blade of the Extrema Ratio S-Thil Stonewashed 04.1000.0223/SW, fixed knife measures 11.9 cm in length and 3.4 mm in thickness. The total length is 22.9 cm.



## Blade made of Böhler N690 steel
The blade of the Extrema Ratio S-Thil Stonewashed 04.1000.0223/SW, fixed knife is made of Böhler N690, a very corrosion-resistant steel from Austria. It is tough and easy to sharpen, even with relatively limited resources. Needless to say, it retains its sharp edge very well.



The ‘stonewash’ process was chosen for the finish of this blade. The stonewash process involves the blade being placed inside a drum with ceramic stones, or media, and then vibrated or tumbled for several hours. The result is a finish that looks precisely polished or roughened depending on the version. The advantage of stonewashing, however, is that signs of use are much less noticeable. That makes it a popular choice for knives that see a lot of use.



The Extrema Ratio S-Thil Stonewashed 04.1000.0223/SW, fixed knife comes with a sheath made of kydex, a sturdy plastic that will keep the steel safe. However, it is important to keep a kydex sheath clean on the inside. Rinse it regularly with water. This will prevent dirt from remaining in the sheath, which can scratch the blade.

Extrema Ratio was founded in 1997 in Italy. The brand has become famous in the knife world with their tactical knives for the military, police officers and firefighters. The knives, often produced in collaboration with the Italian army, meet the highest military standards. They use materials such as Böhler N690 stainless steel and Forprene handles for comfort and safety, even in extreme conditions.
