The Cold Steel Micro Recon 1 is the baby brother of the Recon 1. Of course the design closely resembles that of the Recon 1. But there are some differences. The handle, for instance, is made from glass-reinforced nylon, in Cold Steel's words: Griv-Ex. The blade is made from 4034 steel. This is a simple type of steel that is easy to sharpen. There are, of course, also similarities.
