This is like a hybrid between a bushcraft knife and a dedicated carving knife. The handle is simple and comfortable, the blade angle is 22.5 degrees making it super fine and an amazing carver. It’s thick enough that you can baton with it and the 14c28n steel is so tough that I have had no edge problems in spite of how fine the edge is. It is a great neck knife to pair with a larger bushcraft knife. I like to make bow drill sets with this along with my Helle Nord. I used the nord to split the board and do all the rough work and then used this to refine the set and cut the notch. Highly recommended.
