The blade was factory sharp. The knife feels nice in the hand. It is a bit heavy. The slide lock is too stiff and I'm always worried I'll slam the edge on my fingers when I pull it back. Not my kind of thing I'm afraid. When deployed the knife works great. I was disappointed by the clip. The countersunk screws seem to barely touch the liner so it popped right off.
