As a Farmer I always NEED to carry a knife which has to be able to perform many different tasks. I bought this one partly on impulse and partly because it was on Sale. However, it's ergonomic design just makes it very comfortable to open and use and the blade retains it's edge well. It's also good looking too!

I love this knife. I worried that the reality would not meet the expectations built up over many hours of research, and all the seeming hype that I encountered there. However, I am delighted to say that, despite all of that, it meets my expectations fully. I'll not offer a review of all the specifics -- everything about this knife is great. More than one reviewer has hailed the 940-2 as the best of the 940s. Nevertheless, for whatever indefinable reason (I can't put my finger on it), I still prefer my trusty (Aluminium) 940. These two Osbornes are my favourites among my Benchmade collection, with my Bailout (Al again -- is that it?!) a close third.
