This **Wüsthof Classic 7-piece knife set** is the perfect basic set for any kitchen. With the razor-sharp chef's knife you effortlessly cut vegetables, meat and fish. For the smaller tasks you use the utility knife and to cut small fruit or to peel ingredients you use the paring knife. With the carving knife you cut small slices of meat and with the bread knife you, of course, cut bread, but also fruit with a hard shell. The set also contains a pair of scissors and a honing steel. You store all these amazing tools in a knife block with practical rubber feet that ensure that the block stays in place without leaving behind scratches.

## Wüsthof Classic blade: razor-sharp stainless steel


The blade made from chromium-vanadium steel (X50CrMoV15) is forged from one solid piece of steel. It is sharpened according to Wüsthof’s PEtec technology. This means that for each blade a sharpening angle is determined with the help of a computer. Afterwards it is precisely sharpened on a wet sharpening stone. After thorough inspection each knife leaves the production line, ready for a life of intensive use.


Wüsthof processes the steel in a specific way to make sure it has a high hardness of 58 Rockwell. As such the knife retains its sharpness for a really long time. However, if you notice that the knife is not as sharp as it used to be, all you have to do is move it over a honing steel. The result is a razor-sharp knife that is amazing to use.


## Wüsthof Classic handle: sustainable and hygienic


This knife is a combination of a forged blade and an ergonomic handle made from black POM, a very sustainable type of plastic. The handle can withstand all substances you find in the kitchen. The handle was traditionally and seamlessly riveted to the blade with three rivets. As such dirt can never accumulate in between the blade and the handle. The crop protects your fingers from unnecessary contact with the edge. What more could you possibly ask for?


## Wüsthof Classic: the classic Wüsthof collection


The Classic is the most extensive Wüsthof collection on the market today. It is comprised of over 80 different kitchen knives, amongst which different sizes of chef’s knives, bread knives and carving knives. Because this collection has the most versions of all possible knives, you can easily comprise your own perfect knife set. A knife set with a knife block of chef’s case is, of course, also an option.


Both amateur and professional chef’s love working with these kitchen knives. They are enhanced with the NSF hygiene mark.

Sieraad in de keuken Messen liggen lekker in de hand ,dus ik gebruik ze veel.
Andere messen weg gedaan ,omdat ik nu voor iedere klus een eigen mes heb.

Schitterend messenblok, prachtige inscriptie en een werkelijk superservice van het personeel! Echt een aanrader.


Waren wat problemen om tekst op de messen geëtst te krijgen, toen dit eenmaal opgelost was, was het blok de volgende dag al geleverd.

Ontvanger van het kado was zeer tevreden, na goed gebruik heeft hij het kleinste muntje dat hij bij zich had gegeven. Want de messen zijn echt messcherp zoals hij inmiddels ondervonden heeft.

Pas 1 week in gebruik. Super messen waardoor je je afvraagt hoe je al die tijd zonder hebt gekund. Ik hoop dat de messen hun scherpte lang behouden. Omdat ik de kwalitiet op termijn niet kan beoordelen voorlopig een 8 voor prijs/kwaliteit.

Het is een flinke aanschaf, doch ook dagelijks plezier want deze messen maken het snijden wel heel makkelijk. En daarbij gaan ze volgens mij erg lang mee. Onderhoud (scherp houden) valt me ontzettend mee; slechts 2x per jaar nodig. Raad wel aan ze niet in de vaatwasser te stoppen, zonde.
