This **Spyderco Paramilitary 2** is an amazing pocket knife which is manufactured in the Spyderco factory in Golden, Colorado, USA, Earth. As with every Spyderco knife the finish is absolutely sublime. It opens smoothly and the famous Compression Lock, designed by Spyderco founder Sal Glesser, is very solid and easy to use.


The blade of the Spyderco Paramilitary 2 is made from CPM S45VN steel. A stainless type of steel which is very popular amongst knife enthusiasts. Thinly sharpened, a perfect *slicer*.

Spyderco makes knives that can be used, not looked at. However, the Paramilitary 2 truly is a sight for sore eyes. At the same time the ergonomics are also amazing. Designer Sal Glesser definitely knows what works and what doesn’t, which is something you can clearly see in this successful model.

Un classiaue, très belle pièce finition et prise en main impeccable.  Un bon couteau

Dit is een fantastisch mes. Ik heb ook een Para3, maar deze pm2 is uiteindelijk meer geschikt voor mijn eerder grote handen. Onlangs heb ik ook een benchmade bugout alu gekocht. Conclusie: de spyderco is toch gewoon véél meer mes voor de prijs. 
Wel moet ik erbij zeggen: de PM2 had erge lock stick. Ik heb uiteindelijk de raakvlakken moeten polijsten om het op te lossen. Maar ook de bugout kwam, ondanks zijn premium prijs, met een hele reeks (min of meer oplosbare) probleempjes. 

Sehr schönes Messer - mechanisch einwandfrei - wie mein Para 3, beide Messer ausgestattet mit dem CPM S45VN Klingenstahl,  ist die Klinge des Para 3 perfekt poliert - während die Klinge des Paramilitary 2 nicht vollständig aufpoliert worden ist. Man sieht noch immer die Spuren des Bandschleifers - und das ist ärgerlich für den Preis! MK

Gutes Messer,
Macht Spaß damit zu flicken. Dauert aber einige Zeit bis es leichtgängig geht und das Schloss nicht mehr klemmt. Ist etwas teurer, dafür kann man bei Spiderco eine gute Stahl Qualität erwarten. Von Haus aus kommt es relativ Scharf, rasieren ist mit zwicken möglich. Aber es geht noch wesentlich besser. Wenn man es über ein Leder mit Schleifmittel abzieht wird es noch wesentlich schärfer.
