The **Spyderco Native 5** has been one of the best-sellers from the Spyderco range since 1997. This Spyderco Native 5 Fluted Carbon fibre is a very luxuriously executed edition of this old model. The handles are milled out of carbon fibre. Not only does it look amazing, it also offer you enough grip. Characteristic about the Native 5 is the solid lock. On the one hand the spring on the backlock opens smoothly while, on the other it also takes care of a solid lock when opened. This also ensures that when opening the knife you will be met by some resistance.


The CPM S90V steel blade has been enhanced with a full-flat grind. This means that the blade has a flat grind from the spine to the edge. The S90V guarantees a massive sharpness retention. Not many types of steel can beat that.


Not only the materials used for this knife are remarkable, the construction is also distinctive. For instance, this Fluted Carbon fibre Native does not have steel liners. So a liner less Native. As a result this pocket knife weighs next to nothing!

pour les fans du native, c'est un must have, pour les autres concentrer vous sur un frn ou un g10 ;)

De ultieme iteratie van de Native 5 naar mijn mening. Het blad van CMP S90V is fantastisch staal dat lang zijn schermte behoud en scheermes scherp uit de doos kwam. Carbon fiber scales met fijne contouren en prachtige afwerking maken het mes af en ligt fijn in de hand. Geen speling of lock rock bij dit top mes uit Golden, Colorado, Earth.

Na een telefonisch onderhoud met een medewerker. Heb ik de keuze gemaakt om deze EDC te kopen. Kwaliteit en afwerking echt super. En pas goed in mijn handen. 

Magnifique couteau. Excellent finition, superbe lame très bien affûtée dans un acier top. Le couteau est à peine plus lourd que la version lightweight, avec une prise en main différente (manche au profil un peu plus "carré") et qui donne une impression de solidité sans rapport. Malgré le prix, je ne regrette pas mon achat.

Die beste Variante des sowieso schon tollen Native 5 und das am schönsten verarbeitete Spyderco aus der Golden Colorado Fabrik. Wer so viel dafür ausgibt, wird sich bestimmt im klaren über das Messer selbst sein, so scheint mir eine detaillierte Beschreibung überflüssig. Überteuert? Ja! Bekommt man die Qualität, für die man Zahlt? Definitiv! Noch dazu schnell geliefert.
Kritikpunkte: Backlock und Spydie-Loch Kanten sind ziemlich scharf. Billiger Löffel Clip. Habe einen Titanium Deep Carry Clip von MXG Gear aus den USA bestellen müssen, weil es hier leider keinen gibt. Das ist aber Geschmacksache.
