The **Spyderco Squeak C154BK** is a small and lightweight pocket knife with a slipit lock. This means that the knife does not actually lock. Combined with the small blade length, this makes the Spyderco Squeak legal to carry in many places in Europe. The lack of a lock is largely compensated by the clear click with which the knife opens. Halfway through closing, you feel another clear click. The index finger falls into a curve of blade and handle. Should your blade accidentally close, it is stopped by your finger making the chance of accidents very small. 



The Spyderco Squeak C154BK pocket knife is a compact EDC knife in the colour black. With its blade length of 4.5 cm, it's a modest pocket knife that effortlessly fits inside your pocket. You can also notice this in the weight of 46 g. You'll barely notice you're carrying it with you!



## Blade made of Böhler N690Co steel
The blade of the Spyderco Squeak C154BK pocket knife is made of Böhler N690Co, a very corrosion-resistant steel from Austria. It is tough and easy to sharpen, even with relatively limited resources. Needless to say, it retains its sharp edge very well.



The blade of this knife is enhanced with a 'satin finish'. This is a chic and tasteful finish that is very popular.



## Handle made of FRN

The handle of the Spyderco Squeak C154BK pocket knife is made of FRN and measures 7.9 cm in length. FRN stands for *Fibre-Reinforced Nylon*. That makes it a type of plastic made from nylon, and reinforced with glass fibres for additional strength and durability. FRN is also known as GFN.

In his quest for a knife that was easier to open with one hand, he came up with the idea for a round thumb hole while experimenting. A stroke of pure genius.

Today, the next generation is at the helm of Spyderco. Eric Glesser, the son of Sal and Gail, works hard every day to further establish Spyderco as a leading knife brand.

Al wie een klein handig zakmes zoekt maar niet in de problemen wenst te komen met de wetgeving, stop met zoeken :-). Wat ben ik aangenaam verrast van deze Spyderco. Degelijke constructie (je zou denken van niet aangezien de handgrepen van FRN zijn en geen stalen liners bevatten maar toch voelt dit zakmes zeer stevig aan), stevige 'slipjoint opening', mooie afwerking, zeer discreet te dragen, ligt zeer fijn in de hand, uitstekende keuze van staal en vlijmscherp. Kortweg een homerun!

Hoewel ik Spyderco niet het coolste merk vind qua looks (eerlijk is eerlijk) is het mijn favoriete merk.  Ik heb altijd een Spydie bij me. Deze Squeak is top. Perfekt gemaakt, mooie materialen  en ligt perfekt in de hand. Ik vind een slipjoint trouwens ook prettig. Simpele constructie en  je hebt  mijns inziens voor EDC eigenlijk helemaal geen lock nodig.  Mensen bij K&T weer superaardig en topservice! Ben erg blij met dit mes! Aanrader!
