The blade is it's only good feature. Overpriced for what you get. Terrible value when you consider what else is available.

Having just got into field archery (shooting arrows in the woods) it quickly became obvious I needed a knife to help remove arrows from trees! I needed something fairly small and safe to carry. A good quality, robust pen/folding knife fits the bill perfectly. The shape of the Spyderco blade is also perfect as the straight section on the blade can be slid down/ held very close to an arrow shaft during removal from an object. Overall a perfect tool for the job. I am happy Spyderco make more wallet friendly options besides their eye wateringly expensive versions as well.

My first Spyderco, went for their entry level model. It arrived quickly as all K&T orders do, came super razor razor sharp out the box. Love the ease of the one handed opening, which gets even smoother as you use it. The forward angle of the blade n comparison to the handle is great. The 8cr13MOV steel blade is more flexible then I’m used to from pocket knives normally. Good G10 handle on it which provides comfortable and strong grip. I think Spyderco could have one better with the wire pocket clip. In summary I will be buying Spyderco again
