The **Spyderco Byrd Robin 2 BY10GP2 Black G10** is a small but very handy knife for everyday use. The 8Cr13MoV-steel blade is easy to open one-handed with the comet-shaped hole, and locks when open with a solid and reliable back lock. As an extra safety measure, this back lock has a so-called Boye-dent; a crescent-shaped recess that prevents the knife from slamming shut anyway during heavy use.



The Spyderco Byrd Robin 2 BY10GP2 Black G10 pocket knife is a nice EDC knife in the colour black. With its blade length of 6.4 cm, it's a compact pocket knife that effortlessly fits inside your pocket. You can also notice this in the weight of 65 g. Opening the Spyderco Byrd Robin 2 BY10GP2 Black G10 pocket knife with one hand is very easy thanks to the thumb hole. ## G10 handle

The Spyderco Byrd Robin 2 BY10GP2 Black G10 pocket knife features a handle made from G10 and measures 8.2 cm in length. G10 is a composite material made of glass fibre and synthetic resin. ## Spyderco: great pioneer in the world of knives

open mechanisme: Een byrd hole :D persoonlijk minder goed dan een spyder hole. Maar noraltijd veel leuker en mooier dan een thumbstud.

Lock: Back lock met kleine inkeping. Werkt perfect en zeer goed en fijn afgewerkt

Design: Dragonfly design voor minder geld. Het design is ongelooflijk goed want de dragonfly is wat design betreft het beste klein mesje dat ik ken. Voor weinig geld krijg je dit design met G10 een zeer leuke stof voor de handgreep. Mijn enigste opmerking is dat de byrd hole soms in de weg zit bij het snijden. Zo blijven stukjes appel soms haperen dit heb je niet bij een dragon fly omdat de spyder hole geen "snavel" heeft.

Staal: 8Cr13MoV goed staal. Geen wow staal maar zeker geen slecht staal. 

Grip: Dit mes ligt zalig in de hand G10 is een leuk materiaal (veel leuker dan FRN, dat heeft te veel grip) ergonomy is dat van een Dragonfly en dat is super. plus!

Afwerking: Het is een byrd maar een Byrd is een spyderco en zelfs als is dit het budgetlijn van spyderco ze werken ze af tot in de puntjes. Niets op aan te merken. Alles is perfect uitgemeten en gesneden. 

conclusie als je niet veel geld wil spenderen voor een dragonfly niet twijfelen een super mesje. Ik heb de dragonfly g10 en die is iets mooier, iets soepeler, heeft beter staal maar is ook 100 euro duurder. 
Dus voor een 20 euro heb je een knaller van een mes vandaar een 8 voor prijs kwaliteit!!

après beaucoup de recherches sur le net, et désirant un couteau passe partout, ayant un très bon rapport qualité/prix, sécurisant, léger, avec un bon maintient et une bonne lame ( donc un bon composant de lame ), maniable, j'ai trouvé ce couteau, il est génial..  je n'ai pas encore trouver de défauts... 

De omschrijving is correct: solide allround vouwmesje. Niks meer en niks minder. De prijs- /kwaliteitsverhouding is dik in orde. Het mesje heeft G10 op het heft en zit met kleine torx inmekaar ipv geklonken.

Je ziet het vaak voorbij komen in de reviews maar het is ook echt zo, de service van knivesandtools is goed en verzending gaat snel.
