The **Schrade Leroy Fixed Blade 650942** is a strong survival knife that is also very suitable for heavier tasks. You benefit from the blade length of a machete, but the blade thickness is tailored to a survival knife. This makes the blade quite heavy which is great during use.

The blade is made from AUS8 steel. A stainless type of steel that is easy to sharpen. The hollow grind ensures that the knife is amazing to use. The fact that Schrade can offer a comparable knife at such an attractive price is seriously impressive. A complete survival knife, for a very good price. The handle is made from Thermoplastic Elastomer (TPE). Strong, offers enough grip and is rubbery. Very nice for a knife handle.

The Schrade Leroy comes in a plastic heath with a belt loop for belts up to 5.0 cm wide.

Schrade produces great knives for great prices. That's what they are good at. There are few brands that can compete with these kinds of prices. However, this does mean that the finish might not always be perfect. Not something to worry about, and in line with the prices.

Wie immer zügig geliefert. Als langjähriger Kunde wurde ich bezüglich Qualität der Produkte,, Abwicklung und Korrespondenz von KNIVES AND TOOLS nie enttäuscht. Hier gibt es auch eine funktionierende Qualitätskontrolle.

Zum Schrade Leroy Fixed Blade: Beim Stöbern in KNIVES AND TOOLS blieb ich öfters bei Schrade hängen. Dachte "So günstig? Das hat doch einen Haken!" Habe mir dieses Messer gekauft und bin von diesem massiven Brecher begeistert. Hacken, Holzlocken machen kein Problem. Scharf und Massiv. Das einzige Manko ist die Kunststoffscheide. Wie auf den Bildern zu sehen ist die Gürtelschlaufe und Scheide aus einen Stück. Die Schlaufe liegt fest am Griff an und das Messer ist daher nicht schnell zu ziehen. Aber ich wusste das, weil man es auf den Bildern von KNIVES AND TOOLS erkennen kann. Ich wusste es vorher. 

Fazit: Kaufempfehlung! Bei diesem Preis-Leistungverhältnis, (besonders bei Schrade) und der gesicherten Qualitätskontrolle von KNIVES AND TOOLS macht man beim Kauf nichts falsch.

Nicht mein letztes Messer von Schrade und wenn, dann nur bei KNIVES AND TOOLS.
