The **Schrade Isolate Droppoint** is a lightweight, fixed knife with a minimalist design. Since the steel of the relatively thin blade extends all the way throughout the handle, this knife has a very strong construction. Both the blade and the handle feature jimping, so you always have an excellent grip.

The blade is made from AUS-10 steel. A Japanese type of steel that is tough and easy to sharpen. It also retains its sharpness well. Rubber has been added to the handle, so you have a good grip of the knife.

Schrade produces great knives for great prices. That's what they are good at. There are few brands that can compete with these kinds of prices. However, this does mean that the finish might not always be perfect. Not something to worry about, and in line with the prices.

Sharpener in sheath is a nice touch .
Shaving sharp out of box 

schönes leichtes, handliches Messer mit gut geformter Klinge. Als EDC oder Aufbrechmesser bei der Pirsch möchte ich nie so ein schweres Messer mit mir herumtragen und da punktet das Messer mit Leichtigkeit. Zum Schärfen und zum Aufbrechen finde ich dicke Messer meist unhandlich - und auch hier ist die Klingenbreite gut gewählt. 
Das erste Messer kam leider stumpf bei mir an - war aber schnell geschärft. Es hält die Schärfe gut. Ich habe mir noch ein zweites gekauft und das wurde auch gleich sehr scharf geliefert. 

Kritikpunkt: die Ausbrüche im Griff und die Kanten am Griff sammeln Schmutz und Feist und lassen sich manchmal nicht so einfach unterwegs säubern. 

The green handle part is not g10. It is some rubber. Doesnt grip at all.

Couteau rasoir au déballage, très bien pour la venaison ou autres découpes.
Etui plastique avec céramique pour aiguisage, ne bouge pas, est bien ajusté.
le manche n'est pas assez épais pour moi, mais il accroche bien, donc ...
Acier AUS10, que du bon pour l'instant

Très bon rapport qualité prix, tranchent parfait et l'étui à une très bonne rétention
