The **Rough Ryder Highland Bowie** is a large bowie knife. Originally bowie knives were used for hunting purposes. Today a bowie like this should be the highlight of your showcase. An incredibly cool and large knife. With an amazing look and feel thanks to the cool handle. And all that for an amazing price.



The blade is made from a simple stainless type of steel. Easy to sharpen, no more, no less. The handle is made from G10 with stunning liners as a nice colour accent.



This bowie knife comes with a simple nylon sheath.

Rough Ryder Knives is a brand with a rich history. For over 25 years this brand is known for its excellent price-quality ratio. Like Theodore Roosevelt's Rough Ryders these knives were named after, these knives are ready to be used. The prices are very appealing. However, this does mean that the finish might not always be perfect. Nothing major, and definitely in line with the prices. In case of natural materials such as wood, bone and horn it is possible to end up with small scratches around the pins. It is simply a part of the deal in this price range.

Mooi mes en zeker voor de prijs die ik er voor heb betaald.

Voor de prijs een uitstekend mes. Het mes is erg mooi maar maakt qoa stevigheid een wat goedkope indruk. De schede met kartonnen voering is niet echt sterk (er kwam een popnagel los die ik er gelukkig wel weer in kon drukken).
Wat mij betreft meer voor de show dan voor werkelijk gebruik. Het mes is niet full tang uitgevoerd en lijkt me daarom niet echt geschikt voor zwaar gebruik.

I bought this to for my husband for his birthday as he was going on a prepers convention. Knife didn't come in the right box , didn't have a sheath which is very important safety wise. Have contacted them and was told I would get 12 euros discount back. As there were extremely understaffed. I told them I didn't want money back just the Knife sheath. Haven't heard from them since .

Habe dieses Messer mit zwei anderen des selben Herstellers gekauft. Bei diesem hat die Messerscheide komplett gefehlt, die Verpackung des Messers war auch viel kleiner als die der anderen Messer. Der Verkäufer teilte mir mit, dass es die Scheide bzw. das Messer nicht einzeln gibt, das Messer aber offenbar schon, zumindest war es bei mir so. Ich hätte es zurückschicken können, aber ich bin es leid, immer den Aufwand zu haben erst mal etwas zu reklamieren und zurückschicken, bis es dann was wird. Die Firmen werden leider immer schlechter. Bin raus hier, meine Sammlung kann ich auch woanders erweitern.

Je merkt pas, hoe groot dit mes is, als je het in je handen hebt.

Het is dan ook een imposante verschijning in mijn vitrinekast.
De kwaliteit is erg goed te noemen, het mis is scherp, voelt stevig aan en het is al meegweest op survival in Duitsland. Daar voldeet het aan alle verwachtingen. 

Kleine takken en boompjes, voor het kampvuur, gingen met gemak om.

Al met al een goede prijs / kwaliteit verhouding.

De service van Knives and Tools is geweldig. Alles kwam netjes geleverd en optijd aan.
