Opinel is best known for the distinctive Pocket knives, but also in the kitchen you can cut with the familiar French knives. These kitchen knives feature a wooden handle. The wood is protected by a clear coating. As a result, and thanks to the rust-resistant Sandvik 12C27-steel they are allowed in the dishwasher. However, we still prefer handwash. The different models of kitchen knives basically cover every task in the kitchen.

Brilliant knife. Very sharp. I use it for everything except slicing bread.

Mandatory in the kitchen, goes along the Robert Herder windmill line, very fine blade, easy to sharpen.

Please note that knives are almost always sharpened by hand, even in factories. This value is therefore only an indication of a single tool measured by us.
