Pros: Great quality knife, unique look Cons: Maybe the blade core material could be better, which is VG10: great, but nowadays there are better choices like M390. Clip design is also not perfect: I would expect better one to be on the same level as the rest of the knife. Verdict: recommended!

Beautiful knife! I’ve literally cannot stop messing about with it! The action is silky smooth and the lock is precise and solid, materials appear to be top class! After receiving this as a gift I will definitely adding more mcusta knives to my collection. Highly recommend-thankyou

There was one minor flaw with this knife - the detent holding the blade closed was quite weak, and it would open almost too easily. This was the second one I had received with this "problem". Examining the knife closely, it was clear that the detent ball wasn't dropping sufficiently into the recess in the side of the blade. I decided to dismantle the knife and carefully enlarge the detent hole in the side of the blade very slightly. Having reassebled the knife very carefully, and re-LocTited the screws, I had success - the detent holding the blade closed is much better, and safer. It now works perfectly. The knife has been with me for over 3 months now, always in my pocket or in use, and I have a lot of nice knives to choose from, but this one somehow has that special "magic" that makes me want to keep it with me and use it. Feels great in the hand, a perfect size for me, and keeps a shaving-sharp edge with just a gentle bit of stropping every now and then. A really nice knife - once the detent was sorted out.
