This Le Creuset Les Forgees-pan offers you ultimate ease of use, combined with the famous Le Creuset quality. The frying pan has a diameter of 28 cm and is made of forged aluminium. This ensures an optimal supply of the heat, to guarantee the best frying results. The use of aluminium makes the pan lightweight, which improves comfort. The hardened non-stick coating is incredibly practical with the pans in this series. This ensures hassle-free cooking and effortless washing up!

 **Materials & construction** The forged aluminium base of this Le Creuset Les Forgees pan ensures optimum heat distribution. The pan is suitable for all different heat sources, thanks to the steel discs in the bottom plate. As such you don't have to worry about heating up the handle. Because of the hollow inside of the handle it does not get hot very quickly.

 **Le Creuset Toughened Non-Stick** An important plus point of the Les Forgees series is that all pans have the Toughened Non-Stick coating. It's PFOA-free, which means that it does not contain any Teflon. The result is a hardened, better non-stick coating which can withstand greater heat. These pans can, therefore, be used on all heat sources, including induction and in the oven (up to 260 °C, 220 °C with lid). We certainly do not recommend it, but the pans can be cleaned in the dishwasher.

 **User tips** Remove labels and stickers from the pan before first use. Clean the pan briefly under hot soapy water. Rinse the pan and dry it very well. Use kitchen paper to rub the **inside**of the pan with some vegetable oils. Sunflower oil or peanut oil is fine. Rinse the pan under hot water and dry it well again. Now the pan is ready for use. If you repeat this process regularly, you protect the non-stick coating in the long term and you extend the service life.

 Always choose the right heat source and temperature for your pan. When using a stove make sure that the flames never reach further than the base of the pan. Preferably use cookware made of wood, plastic or silicone. Metal cookware, forks or spoons can be used with care. Prevent scraping the surface or tapping on the edge of the pan. **Never** cut any food in the pan. Light scratches can become visible with normal use but do not affect the filter method of the pan.

  **Always**clean the pan after use. Leftover or greasiness can ingrain in time. This may affect the non-stick coating. Always let the pan cool down before washing the dishes and **never** place a hot pan under a cold tap. The pans simply cannot cope with this temperature difference.
