The **Kershaw Bel Air 6105** is a cool pocket knife, designed and produced in the USA. The knife is made from high-quality materials, like MagnaCut steel. You open the blade with the thumb stud, which moves very smoothly thanks to the KVT ball bearings. The blackwashed finish of the droppoint blade ensures that traces of use will hardly be visible. It's a nice contrast to the aluminium handle. With this Kershaw, you'll be the prince of Bel Air!

## CPM MagnaCut steel blade

The blade is made from CPM MagnaCut steel with a blackwashed finish. This steel type is famous for its superior properties. It offers an excellent level of hardness and incredible sharpness retention. In short: MagnaCut steel makes for a durable and sharp edge. It's the perfect steel type for demanding tasks. The straight profile of the droppoint blade ensures an even edge. This makes the knife ideal for tasks where precision and control are important, such as cutting cardboard into even pieces.

## Aluminium handle

The handle is slightly curved and made of aluminium. A strong yet lightweight material. As a result, the knife feels very solid and weighs very little. The knife has an interchangeable deep-carry pocket clip to make the knife easy to carry in deeper trouser pockets for both left and right-handed use.

Ce couteau est une belle réussite. Il est léger, l'ouverture et la fermeture sont fluides, le clip permet un port vraiment profond et la lame est bien aiguisée en sortie de boîte. Vu sa taille, il ne s'adresse vraiment pas aux mains imposantes et il convient juste aux mains moyennes. C'est vraiment un bel objet et le temps dira s'il vieillit bien. Le prix normal est prohibitif alors que celui pratiqué lors du black friday était bien plus accessible. Merci KATO !

Ich war sehr überrascht, als ich den Feiertagspreis sah. Ich habe es 40% günstiger bekommen.
Das Messer funktioniert einwandfrei, rasiermesserscharf, rastet in der Mitte ein, superschöne Bedienung.
Ich bin sehr zufrieden.
Manchmal hat Knivesandtools wirklich tolle Aktionen.

Il est le concurrent direct du ''benchmade bugout'' un des mes couteau ''edc'' préféré ultra fin et compact et un coupant radical 

Je suis à la recherche depuis des années du couteau EDC qui me convient parfaitement: pas trop petit ni trop gros, léger, fin, clip de poche le plus discret possible (very deep-carry, noir, fixation robuste), couteau robuste, ouverture fluide, système de fermeture plus robuste qu'un liner-lock, le meilleur acier possible, forme de lame polyvalente, et aspect pas trop "tactique" pour ne pas effrayer les gens qui le voient... Je possède déjà une bonne dizaine de pliants de plusieurs marques. Après de nombreuses recherches et lecture d'avis sur le net, j'avais pré-sélectionné le Benchmade Bugout, le Hogue Deka, l'ANV A200 et le Spyderco Para 3 ou Chaparral. Mais juste avant de faire mon choix, je suis tombé par hasard sur ce kershaw Bel Air. Et bien il a balayé les autres, il cochait toutes mes cases! Pour un prix comparable aux autres, il a un meilleur acier (CPM Magnacut), une poignée parfaitement rigide /robuste (liners en acier pleins et alu) pour un poids certe un peu plus lourd mais restant très léger dans la poche. Fluidité de l'ouverture incroyable grâce aux roulements (la meilleure que j'ai pu tester!). Sans compter d'autres avantages pour moi: finition céramique du manche robuste et agréable au toucher, forme et épaisseur fine de la lame parfaite pour un EDC, Clip very deep-carry, couleurs noir/sable réussies et sobres.
S'il fallait trouver un point d'amélioration de ce couteau (comme pour beaucoup de couteaux), j'incrusterais la fixation du clip de poche dans le manche pour améliorer la stabilité de la fixation de ce clip et pour améliorer la finition à ce niveau. Je recouvrirais également le clip de poche d'une finition céramique, afin d'améliorer la résistance aux griffes et éclats, car c'est la partie du couteau (de tous les couteaux!) qui est la plus exposée et qui s'abîme le plus.
