The **KA-BAR Wrench Knife 1119** is a remarkable neck knife. The design is based on the knives that are sometimes forged from old wrenches by knife enthusiasts. KA-BAR used these characteristic shapes and turned them into this nice knife.



KA-BAR used 425 to forge this knife. This is a slightly improved version of the famous 420 steel. Stainless, tough, easy to sharpen. So great! Because of the association with a wrench you might assume that this knife is really heavy. Fortunately this is not the case. With 90 grams it is a perfect neck knife. Ready to open boxes, prepare a sandwich or to split a couple of sticks as kindling.



The KA-BAR Wrench Knife 1119 comes with a sleek plastic sheath, without belt clip.

Hay dos cosas negativas a destacar. La primera es que no venía muy bien afilado. La segunda es que la funda, aunque retiene bien el cuchillo, no se ajusta del todo bien, lo que hace que haga mucho ruido en su interior. Ahora bien, el diseño me parece muy atractivo y es un cuchillo robusto apto para múltiples tareas. Curiosamente, el mango es muy cómodo para ser de acero y tener la forma que tiene. Es un cuchillo muy robusto con el que uno no tiene que tener especial cuidado. Al tener un acabado rústico envejece muy bien con el uso.

Looks good but the edge is dull. Out of the box the knife didn't even cut paper. The edge was even ground asymmetric. After some work I got it to cut hair. Another downside is the missing guth on the handle I have small hands for an adult man but still the handle is to small for me. The upside it looks great in my opinion and after sharpening it really grew on me 

Couteau conforme à mes attentes. Il est discret et surtout n'impressionne pas des qu'on l'a dans la main. C'est un très bon utilitaire. Je m'en sers aussi bien pour le bricolage que pour une petite sortie dans la verte. Je le recommande.
