The **KA-BAR Mark 98 Folder 3066** is a solid no-nonsense pocket knife. Perfect for those who don't want to spend too much money, but are still looking for a decent pocket knife that can handle its own. This pocket knife is perfect for daily use. Attach it to your pocket with the pocket clip and you will be ready for anything.



You can easily open this knife with one hand with the flipper. The blade runs on teflon washers and moves smoothly. A solid liner lock ensures that the blade won't close during use. The beautiful layered G10 handle stands out. The G10 feels great in hand and provides you with enough grip. A great detail is the bold groove in the blade. KA-BAR enhanced all steel parts with a dark-grey finish for a cool look and feel.

Liegt gut in der Hand,  schaut gut aus, na ja eben Ka Bar

Un rapport qualité / prix / plaisir simplement imbattable. Bon look rustique, belle sensation de robustesse lorsqu’il est en main. Facile à affûter et à régler. Lame très puissante. Rondelles en plastique, pas de roulement à billes mais c’est bien normal à ce prix serré. Ouverture aisée via le flipper mais on peut également s’amuser grâce à la rainure (?) de lame. Fermeture à une main sans problème. Très bon couteau pliant qui ne frime pas mais fait le boulot. 

Mooie folder, ligt goed in de hand, mooi lemmet. Enkel de 'made in china' op het lemmet steekt af. 

Für diesen Preis ok aber nicht den Namen KA BAR wert. Sorry sollte vorher nachdenken

Om maar met de deur in huis te vallen, eigenlijk is 5CR15MoV een beetje onder mijn niveau. Beetje een snob ben ik wel want het zal niet vaak gebeuren dat ik een klus krijg waar ik echt verschil merk tussen ATS34 of 5Cr15MoV. De laatste is volgens de experts niet echt hard en als verzamelaar wil je toch iets aansprekends.

Dat is met dit mes toch wel gelukt. Aantrekkelijk ontwerp, gebouwd als een tank, goed afgewerkt, een bruikbare haast militaire uitstraling waar de smaakvol gekleurde g10 handgreep een vleugje extra finesse  afgeeft.

Ik wilde ‘m gewoon hebben ook met dat 5Cr staal, dat in gebruik niet tegenvalt.

Denk dat een versie met 1095 makkelijk voor het 3 dubbele van de hand zou gaan.
