Was intrigued by these Higonokami knives, so ordered one as an extra on my main order. Pleasantly surprised for the price. Razor sharp, I like the slightly curved blade and reverse tanto point. Has a mass produced feel to it, which I don’t mind. The look of the blade steel and Japanese stencilling on the handle give it a proper authentic feel. Listed as a one-hand opener...there is no way you can open this knife with one hand. Realistically it’s just going to sit in my drawer s a ‘nice to have part of the collection’ knife Don’t regret buying it at all.

Came very quickly and very sharp. I ordered before 5:30 but didn’t get the same day delivery I assume I’m missing some detail about that. Cant fault the knife just requires so maintenance because it can rust.

After watching and reading reviews about this knife from Dutch bushcraft knives I am very impressed. The knife needed a little sharpen when it arrive but otherwise it's a very nice, aesthetic pleasing knife.

This knife is very sharp, with a strong blade. The metal fold is simple and rather roughly finished. The thumb lever is crudely finished with a rough edge - it would easily make a hole in a trouser pocket. Attached to a lanyard and kept in a jacket pocket it is OK, with the advantage that it can be opened wearing gloves. There is no spring or locking mechanism, either for open or closed position, just the friction of the hinge rivet - the blade will punish careless handling.
