The **Gerber US1 31-003040** is a small, practical knife for daily use. According to Gerber the US1 is the perfect example of 'Hard Work pays off'. Years of experience with regards to knife making has led to the US1.



The US1 has a 6.7 cm blade that is made from 420HC steel. A strong and easy to sharpen type of steel for daily use. The US1 is enhanced with a backlock, a small blade and can be opened with two hands. As such it is legal almost anywhere. A massive plus considering the constantly changing knife laws.


With its 34 grams the US1 doesn't weigh that much. Gerber was able to achieve this with the help of rubber and FRN: fibreglass reinforced nylon. The result? An easy to carry pocket knife for in your bag or pocket. The rubber handle is enhanced with an interesting pattern to make sure you have enough grip. The handle itself contains a lanyard hole to make sure you can pull a lanyard or keyring through it. As such you can also attach the US1 to a bunch of keys or carabiner.



All in all, a very usable knife for small daily tasks, especially for this price! The Gerber US1 has an unparalleled price-quality ratio. Exactly as befits Gerber!
