Very surprised by the quality for that price. Seems to be quite good build quality and after couple of days of use chopping willow all good. The cover is enough to protect it but not very good if you want to wear it on your belt. All in all very nice.

This is a huge blade. I haven’t had an opportunity to fully test it yet. It is well balanced and has a nice handle for use either way round. It’s very sharp. The blade is quite thin though. Good quality sheath. Exactly what you can expect from Gerber. Helpful safety instructions. Good value, what I expected for the price.

Well this is the second one ive have brought i did not buy it because of price because price is no object to me especially when it comes to buying a good quality blade i brought this percific machete because it not only looks good it feels good to hold,, really nicely weighted and the grip is perfect Also the case is pretty good quality but. When buying these gerbers from new they are so blunt u wud not cut butter so its important u get a good sharper and with the blade being carbon steel they r pretty tough wearing and can get pretty razor sharp if sharpened property i recommend anyone who owns a machete to invest in a good belt sander sharperner with a good card board disc also to get that perfect smooth razor finish
