The first sharpening stone I've bought. I wanted something inexpensive super portable and simple enough for a beginner to use to keep my kitchen and outdoor knives sharp. This has performed well so far, it took me a couple hours of practice to get the hang of it and there's still plenty of room for improvement in my technique but I'm now able to sharpen knives enough to shave of arm hairs. I found knives and tools through the YouTube channel Dutch bushcraft knives and was very happy with their service.
