Best sharpener I have ever used, I have Wustof knives and even there own sharpener is useless , the only thing I had an issue with was the angles set by the manufacturer . They do not suggest A 14 deg angle . But when I googled Wustof knives they were ground at 14 deg . I would suggest getting in touch with your knife manufacturer to find out the best angle for you knives. And get an angle block they are great.

If you want sharp knives this is the tool ! I've had so many knife sharpeners and this is in a league of its own. A little pricey but the last one you will ever buy.

Easy to use, but still require an knowledgable touch and used correctly it will deliver any sharpness/final apperance you want. For "real use " knives or mirror finishes for show off. The Ceramic rod included works very well to finish off or retouch.

the product does exactly what it says, no frills, no hidden extras and does it very well. the temptation is to work side to side and out of the area of the stand. don't do that, keep it as straight as you can and that provides the best results I found, certainly when dealing with the initial courser stone cuts. With a bit of imagination on positioning, I used it also for workshop tools and got consistent results so it has versatility which i like I used the stones wet as in a 'bowl of water' wet as you would with japanese stones and found they provided a much better finish. Certainly when it came to stroping them they came up as a mirror finish. I'm happy with it.
