The board is easy to pick up thanks to its relatively light weight and the cut-out handles in the side. Thanks to the rubber feet at the bottom, the cutting board stays securely in place. ## Cleaning your cutting board

To make sure your cutting board stays in great shape you need to maintain it! Fortunately this isn't as much work as you might think. Clean the board after use by holding it under a tap and dry it with a towel. The cutting board is not dishwasher safe! Place the board upright (or hang it) to make sure it dries properly.

## Adding oil to your cutting board

Wooden cutting boards need to be maintained. To make sure the cutting board stays in great shape we recommend adding a coat of oil before use. It makes the cleaning process easier, the wood won't dry out, and it ensures that scratches are less visible. It is best to use a flavourless and fragrance-less oil. Almond or grape seed oil, for instance. (Please note: we do not recommend using almond oil if you are allergic to nuts). 

You can also use white mineral oil, but we recommend using [Eden cutting board oil](/en/pt/-eden-essentials-mineral-oil-for-wooden-cutting-boards-120-ml.htm). Don't use olive oil because it will become sticky. Something you, of course, want to avoid. Add a coat of oil once every month. Muy bonita y parece de calidad, bien terminada

Heerlijke snijplank, vlees is heel mooi te snijden zonder dat het mes ( ook van knifeandtools) in de snijplank blijtft zitten. Schoonmaken is een eitjes zeker na in olieen met eden olie. Ook de 4 voetjes vind ik perfect geen geschuif meer. Kortom een meer dan fantastische snijplank. Evenals de aangeschaften messen die krijgen ook een 10.

Très bonne planche en bois, conforme au descriptif et agréable à employer.
