The **CRKT Minimalist Katana 2394** is an extremely ergonomic neck knife, designed by Alan Folts. When you look at the Minimalist you immediately notice the handle. The finger grooves provide a comfortable three-finger grip. Your little finger leans on the lanyard to make sure you can control the Minimalist with your entire hand. The spine of the blade is enhanced with jimping for your thumb. These are small grip serrations that give you more control.

This Minimalist Katana is very cool. The blade is a little longer than that of the other knives from the Minimalist collection. The 8Cr13MoV steel blade is enhanced with a compound grind. The front of the blade is enhanced with a hollow grind, the end, towards the tip, with a flat grind. The result is a blade that is amazing to use and has a very solid tip. The blade, also because of the excellent ergonomics, is incredibly versatile. From opening boxes to light outdoor tasks. A great neck knife to carry with you on a daily basis.

You can easily take the knife with you in the included plastic sheath. You can use a neck cord to hang it around your neck, or use the included belt clip to hang it from your belt.

De minimalist serie van CRKT. Misschien opmerkelijk dat deze volledig ontbrak in mij collectie. Ik heb tenslotte iets met kleine handige mesjes, niet waar?

De verklaring is simpel, ik vond het aanbod gewoon onder de maat. Ja een goed ontworpen en afgewerkt en handig altijd bij de hand mesje. Maar wel voor een stevige prijs en met 5CR een voor mij onder de maat staal. Het wijkt niet veel af van 4116 maar dat geldt ook voor 440a en 440c waarbij ik zwaar de voorkeur geef aan de laatste.

Deze variant komt in 8CR en heeft een serieus lemmet qua grote. Dat heeft me over de streep getrokken en ik heb er geen spijt van.

Moet ik wel zeggen dat de greep een beetje aan de dunne kant is. Ergonomisch goed doordacht voor 3 vinger gebruik maar nog steeds wat magertjes. 

Misschien dat het went.

Das einzige Minimalist - Modell mit vernünftiger Klingenlänge. Guter Anschliff bei meinem Exemplar. Den Preis finde ich recht günstig. Die Handlage und die Proportionen konnte ich mit den wesentlich breiteren Flytanium - Griffschalen extrem verbessern - das hat natürlich auch den Preis erhöht!

La lame est tranchante hors de la boîte, pas besoin à aiguiser soi-même, poignée très confortable et étui sécurisé.

Très bon couteau d’inspiration Japonais. Bon couteau pour La Défense
