The **Condor Bisonte Knife 3954-4.7HC** is a large bushcraft knife, designed by Walter A. Matthews. Its shape and dimensions make it the perfect all-round bushcraft knife. Great for the more detailed wood carving tasks, but also perfect when removing side branches of a large branch.



This knife is made for all-round outdoor use. The blade has a scandi-grind. That is a fine grind for wood work. A scandi-edge is also easy to sharpen. Even with limited means and while out in the field.



The blade of the Condor Bisonte Knife is made from 1095 carbon steel. A strong type of steel that is easy to sharpen and can handle quite a bit. 1095, however, is not completely stainless. As such you need to clean it regularly and add a drop of oil once in a while. The knife has a strong full-tang construction. This means that the thickness of the blade runs throughout the entire handle.



The handle is made from walnut wood. The Condor Bisonte Knife comes with a leather bushcraft sheath with a belt loop, dangler and loop for your firesteel.

Good comfortable knife to hold, good sheath, fairly sharp out of the box but needed touched up. My only issue is the steel rust's very quickly with just the thought of moisture!
