The Cold Steel Recon Tanto is a slender Tactical Fixed Blade. The point is incredibly strong, because of the tanto shape. Of course, the cutting edge is also very sharp, but this type of knife distinguished itself by the penetrating power of the point. The Recon Tanto is a low-cost alternative for the popular, but more expensive Tanto's with VG1 SanMai III-steel. The Recon Tanto is made of AUS8A knife steel, which is used a lot by Cold Steel.  
  


The Kray-Ex handle feels soft and will offer a lot of grip, both in wet and dry circumstances. A solid kydex sheath is included in delivery.
