The **Civivi Baby Banter Wharncliffe CIC19068SC-2** is a compact and practical EDC pocket knife, designed by Ben Petersen. In the pocket knife community Ben is also known as @ben_banters with his saying 'What iiiiisss up guys!' He envisioned this large version of the Banter as a pocket knife that didn't need to look like any other pocket knife. People asked him why he didn't release that unique knife. The cooperation with WE Knife was sought after, and now it is here: the WE Knife Banter. By popular demand, there is now also a smaller version of the Banter: this Civivi Baby Banter.

## Canvas micarta handle

With only a 5.9 cm blade, the Baby Banter is very compact. You have great grip over the stunning micarta handle. It looks friendly, so you can carry it with you throughout the day, wherever you go. You can easily open it with the thumb stud, and a solid liner lock holds the blade in place when opened. 

## Nitro-V steel

You can discreetly and safely carry the knife in your pocket with the deep-carry pocket clip. As the name suggests, a deep-carry pocket clip keeps the knife deep in your pocket, so it is less noticeable. The blade is made from Nitro-V. This is a relatively new steel with a high nitrogen content, which makes it very corrosion-resistant.

Great little knife at a great price. Nice and compact. Sharp and ready to use. Purple micarta scales are really nice and well finished. Nice and snappy to open and also easy to close.

Praktisch klein zakmesje. Ergonomisch slim uitgedacht. NitroV blijft prima scherp. Spitse punt fijn voor precisiewerk. 

Piccolo coltellino affilato come un rasoio. Movimento fluidissimo. Rifiniture molto buone e rapporto qualità prezzo imbattibile. Nel complesso molto soddisfatto.

Niet mijn eerste Civivi, maar wel m'n eerste Baby Banter. Ik bel al jaren, net als velen, op zoek naar het perfecte EDC mes. Dit zou 'm wel eens kunnen zijn voor mijn huidige gebruik! Perfect ontwerp! Al 8 maand zit ie in m'n zak wat een absoluut record is! Heerlijk klein en licht mes, wat toch enorm fijn in de hand ligt (en ik heb lange vingers). Ik heb bijv. ook de Spyderco dragonfly die ik ook erg prettig vind, maar deze heeft een betere ergonomie door oa het fijne afgeronde micarta. Voor mij de perfecte pasvorm voor hetgeen ik het mes gebruik en dat is vooral op m'n werk (kantoor en laboratorium) dus dozen/zakken openmaken. Rubber slangetjes doorsnijden, tie wraps/touw doorsnijden etc. Thuis ook veel gebruikt bij aanleggen electriciteit...ideaal om kabels te strippen! Wharncliffe vorm bevalt daarvoor ook super en het mes blijft goed scherp. Nog niet geslepen terwijl ik het best vaak gebruik (wel steeds van korte duur). Er zijn wat kleine donkere vlekjes op het blad die ik niet wegkrijg, maar dat stoort me niet, want het is een werkpaard voor mij. Verder blijft het perfect...openen, sluiten erg soepel en perfect gecentreerd. Niks op aan te merken. Het bevalt zo goed, dat ik ook de zwarte heb besteld. Enige nadeel is dat ie zo klein en licht is, dat ik al regelmatig eens op plekken kwam waar ik eigenlijk geen mes bij me zou moeten hebben en ik het het mes helemaal vergeten was (bij de dokter, in de winkel etc.)

Il est parfait, petit (rentre tranquille dans la petite poche d'un jean) et fonctionnel : pas de jeu, rien à redire sur le tranchant (on verrra à l'usage), très bien fini, ouverture fluide et facile, reste verrouillé même quand on serre fort le manche, la lame est bloquée en position fermée (petite résistance), la forme de la lame est impeccable pour bricoler, la tenu du manche en main est nickel et le creux dans la lame pour le saisir est très bien positionné et ergonomique (j'ai une main plutôt petite). 
Je suis donc ravi d'autant que la couleur violette me plaît beaucoup ! Je recommande !
