Another outstanding knife from Boker and Knives and Tools. Well constructed and razor sharp, the knife cuts easily and has a great slip joint that makes it very sturdy and easy to use. UK compliant and comes with a beautiful case and reversible pocket clip. Knives and Tools had it in stock and at the best price I could find.

As a knife maker myself, I searched far and wide for the best UK EDC legal folder. The slip joint is solid enough to use for most things a fixed blade knife is good for, and the handle is fat enough for a safe grip. Future suggestion: Torx key for moving the clip.

Well, it's definitely got a solid non-locking lock! For places where a lock is illegal, but you need to use a knife, this is great... as long as you don't eed to open it quickly! Does the job, good deal, but it won't be for everyone.

First I would like to say it is a great knife, its only drawback is it does not appear to be UK legal, although it is. Because of the knifes girth it definately appears to be much bigger than the parameters of a legal carry. Will purchase a kinder to the eye to put in EDC.

My new EDC, non locking liner so keeps it legal in most countries. Very stiff to close, so feels like can do some pretty heavy duty work work without closing on you. Nice thick blade, looks like it will take a beating. Very happy for the price I paid.

Brilliant little knife. Absolutely sold. No issues whatsoever. Perfect for your everyday needs. Most importantly legal to carry on you in the UK. Personally I'd change the handle material, but that's me.

Bought this knife 3 years ago, hardly use it, but always kept it handy. Today when opening the back of the knife snap for no reason. Really disappointed

Boker Plus Worldwide 01B0569 The product arrived in good time and very well packaged in a strong Cardboard box. The knife was well presented in a quality box. The knife was in a padded zipped canvas bag all very impressive. This Boker product was not disappointing. It feels good in the hand is well finished with no rough edges. I knew from other reviews that it was robust and weighty which it is. The blade is a lovely design and again well finished. The handle is workman like and the edges chamfered to provide a comfortable solid grip. The slip joint has a strong spring which is on the limit of such a mechanism needing strong fingers to open. However I can live with this and a little oil helped. The blade is sharp but I would say could be better but it did pass the pencil sharpening test. All good apart from one problem. On closing the blade it was not snapping shut smoothly. ! On inspection it turned out that the two screws holding the pocket clip in place were too long. They were protruding through the side plates and fouling on the side of the blade causing it to not lie central. Having removed the pocket clip fixings the blade centralised and worked properly shutting with a nice snap. The tiny screws securing the clip are not the best quality and I think I will have-to replace them with new screws which is a bit disappointing. (The clip was fixed at the pivot point) May be I was unlucky as no one else seems to have had a similar issue.

The knife is impossible to open. I cannot open it without using pliers, so it is useless to me.

This is a beast of a knife. Some will complain about the strength needed to open this folder, but for me that is a plus in a non locking pocket knife. I feel very secure knowing that it won't suddenly collapse during use, something that has occasionally happened with my Swiss army knife. The thick AUS 8 drop point steel blade came sharp and ready to use, and the quality fit and finish shows its German pedigree. Excellent value for money, even more so when considering it arrived with a very smart black canvas pouch. Highly Recommended.

I'm not a knife guy, but I wanted a knife for various purposes, something to keep me busy with and what not as i'm a hobbyist who gets tired of razor blades dulling too quickly and easily while being a nightmare to hold and sharpen. First impressions are the knife is very affordable, the quality is outstanding from the handles grip to the blade in its entirety, and the blade is incredibly sharp with that tight angle that will make it fantastic for filleting, cutting fruit or veg, or even whittling wood. The slipjoint mechanism is very stiff, I'm not the strongest man on the planet nor am i feeble but It is a very stiff opening mechanism which is good but also somewhat dangerous as reflexively I am inclined to grasp it to open it which is stupid, I feel like i need a pair of cut proof gloves to open and close the knife safely while the mechanism is this tough - I do understand the spring will weaken a bit given time of repeated opening and closing actions, and you can use polishing compounds to help bring it to a level that is more comfortable for yourself, but for a hobby user it's perfectly acceptable. The blade is a brilliant design and the cutting edge is beautifully ground with that satin finish, the knife does come with a lockable textile zip carry case which is nice to keep it safe. For a first time knife buyer I am happy with this Boker blade and would reccommend it to anyone looking for a high quality reputable knife, I will buy more another knife in the future with an easier to open mechanism, maybe a friction detent lock design. This is unrelated to the review but I've seen this blade with a blued finish that I thought was gorgeous so I will be blueing this blade and replacing the handle with my own design out of G10 FR4 with a 3d printed tpu shell for comfort. 5/5 knife on all fronts.
