Mandolins are very useful tools when cutting fruits and vegetables. Cut your vegetables fast an safe, on an adjustable thickness. Just like using a food processor, you cut a constant thickness of slices. However, cleaning a mandolin goes much faster than cleaning a kitchen machine.   
  


The Benriner  mandolin of Japanese origin,  can be set to the correct thickness very quickly. Using the screw on the bottom of the machine, you can change the cutting height and there with the slice thickness. That's all there is to it! The included finger protector ensures that you can cut without risk of injury. The pins in the guardian keep the vegetable firmly in place. This mandoline comes with a transparent tray.   
  


The Benriner mandolin comes with 3 blades that can be placed vertically and which you can use for cutting vegetables ' en julienne '. That means you cut thin strips or rods. You can choose from fine, medium or coarse.

Ben zeer blij met de mandoline doet goed zijn werk,is loeischerp (mijn duim weet er alles van)maar verder een perfect stuk keuken gereedschap.

Ooit, meer dan dertig jaar geleden kocht ik op een beurs mijn eerste mandoline. Eindeloos gebruikt werd die zo langzamerhand wat bot en moest ik omzien naar een nieuwe, omdat de messen van de oude niet verwisselbaar waren.
Nou, dat laatste is bij deze prachtige Benriner in elk geval wel mogelijk. Deze mandoline is compact (altijd handig in overvolle keukenkastjes), stevig uitgevoerd, perfect afgewerkt en loeischerp. Hij (of is het een zij?) doet perfect wat ik ervan verwacht. De opvangbak maakt schoon werken gemakkelijk. De prijs mag inmiddels wat hoger zijn dan toen, maar mijn enthousiasme wint het van mijn heimwee. Wie zichzelf een goeie mandoline gunt, hoeft niet verder te zoeken.

Een prima Snijder. Tot de dunste plakjes een goed resultaat. Geen toeters en bellen,doet gewoon wat ie moet doen. Blij dat ik 'm gekocht heb.
