The **Benchmade 945 Mini Osborne** is the compact edition of the world-famous Benchmade 940. A little shorter and therefore even easier to carry with you. You hardly notice it in your pocket! Is this the ultimate EDC pocket knife? 


You quickly open the Benchmade 945 with the double thumb stud. A solid Axis lock locks the blade to make sure your fingers are safe. Great about this axis-Lock is that it is great for both left and right-handed use. Combined with the interchangeable pocket clip this Benchmade 945 is a true friend to all. 


The handle is made from aluminium. With purple anodized standoffs. This contrast makes it a little playful. The blade is made from CPM S30V steel. An excellent American type of steel. It retains its sharpness well, is stainless and easy to sharpen. Simply a good choice!

Beste edc mes maat is precies goed, en super scherp zou er nog zo een bestellen top service 

The knive meets up to the famous Benchmade standard. And knivesandtools delivers fast and at a reasonable price. 

Comprada el 12 de diciembre, ni rastro de la navaja  casi un mes después. No hay donde reclamar en la web, tengo que hacer la reclamación a la empresa de transporte y mandan hacerla rellenando un formulario que no puedo cubrir digitalmente…. Eso si, es el tercer email que me mandan para que de mi opinión. Mala experiencia en mi primera y ultima compra en knives and tools. 

Top mesje. Ligt geweldig in de hand, voelt stevig en sterk aan. In vergelijking met de mini bugout vind ik deze net iets steviger aanvoelen.
Super scherp uit de door. Moet nog een beetje 'roderen', het klikt nog niet vlot open en dicht maar met wat gebruik zal dat zo in orde komen.

Ok, een beetje dubbel..

Je leest online wel eens iets over de omega-veertjes van Benchmade die hit or miss zijn, maar je hoopt dat dat enkel bij andere mensen voorkomt. Blijkbaar niet!

Na drie weken onafgebroken te zijn gebruikt, faalden de veertjes gisterenavond. Erg jammer! Dan maar online een set vervangende veertjes besteld, 20 euro kwijt, en het was al een duur mes voor wat je krijgt. Zo is bijvoorbeeld het staal echt niet meer marktconform voor de prijs!

Begrijp me zeker niet verkeerd, dit is een super ontwerp, net zoals zijn iconische grote broer, maar dan meer kantoor-fähig, en eens alles vlotjes loopt en een beetje geolied is, een waar plezier om te gebruiken of om mee te prullen! Maar nu ik weet dat dit mes een duidelijke zwakke plek heeft in de kleine veertjes die de vergrendeling verzorgen, denk ik toch twee keer na eer ik dit mes (eens ik het gerepareerd heb) op een kampeertocht meeneem boven eentje met een simpele linerlock.
