The **Zero Tolerance 0609PUR** is a cool pocket knife, designed by RJ Martin. Experts recognize the Factory Custom version called the 606 in this model. This 609 is based on it, only the knife has been on a diet. It is namely a lot slimmer than its limited predecessor. While the 606 was enhanced with carbon fibre inlays, the grip pattern on the 609 is milled in the titanium.

 ## Zero Tolerance 0609 Hardware

 The striking focal point of this pocket knife is, of course, the pivot. It is absolutely amazing. You rarely come across such a beautiful piece of hardware on a production knife. The pivot is hollow, and doesn't have any recognizable cut-outs or connection for a screwdriver. As if the blade magically turns from the handle.

 You make the blade appear with the flipper. With Zero Tolerance's famous KVT-ball bearings-system it will shoot from the handle. When opened the blade is locked by a solid framelock. As befits Zero Tolerance they added a steel insert with overtravel stop to make sure the lock stays in great condition for many years to come. Simply put it is a hard piece of steel in the lock that eliminates the wear and tear of titanium on steel.

 In terms of steel they also outdid themselves. The Zero Tolerance 0609 is namely enhanced with a blade made from CPM 20CV-steel. This is an incredibly fine type of stainless steel that retains its sharpness well. Perhaps the most popular premium type of steel at the moment.

 In conclusion, the Zero Tolerance 0609 is an amazing pocket knife. It has a double role because it is nice and refined enough for a gentleman's knife, but at the same time solid enough for hardcore use.
