This was my first Zero Tolerance knife purchase... and I was expecting something exceptional. I have to say that this knife is really something special. It's large and bulky and it will destroy your flipper finger for a few days or let's say 100 flips. When you first unbox this knife you'll probably feel like a little kid. It's something that was built for mad max or wolverine, batman or hellboy. It's beautifully built, practical in every functional way that you could imagine and now that I've worn it in a little, smooth as you could want. The blade has some weight and combined with the caged bearings at the pivot, just a little pressure on the flipper will send it flying out with that satisfying hard steel on steel "clack" that I love to hear. The backwash finish is a good subtle Matt with a soft washed look. The coating on the blade looks very durable. I have largish hands and this knife fits so well. It has a very strong lock up, blade centering is perfect. Love the s/'s insert on the titanium lock bar and the lock over travel guard (lock stabiliser). The pocket clip is also a washed out Matt black (not some shiny crap) and is pretty small on this knife which I like. It's very deep carry in pocket (the only way). When you release the blade it just falls back into the handle. I could go on. If you find the thought of owning one of these knives excites you, and you can justify the spend, You'll probably be as excited as I was when I unpacked mine. It still makes me grin when I look at it or pick it up for a play. Beautiful, savage toy (I mean tool.. haha)
