This Wüsthof Classic bread knife, 23 cm is a classic which belongs in every kitchen. In addition to cutting loaves of bread you can also use this knife to cut vegetables and fruit with a hard skin. The hollow, serrated edge of the knife works like the serrations of a saw, but is much finer. As such you no longer have to apply pressure to cut a loaf of bread and even hard crusts are a piece of cake.

The best bread knife I have ever used. Very sharp and cuts through the most crumbly bread cleanly without the bread falling apart. This is an exceptional bread knife , Use carefully as its very sharp. I would highly recommend it to others.

It is expensive, but that is relevant to what one normally pays, However I think it is worth every penny. Because it is so good I now buy uncut bread and it slices through all the different types like a knife through butter. And one can have thin slices of bread when necessary.
