The Wetterlings Splitting Axe is very suitable for cleaving wood. The wedge-shaped head, will push the wood apart. This axe is less heavy than the Splitting Maul and is therefore a bit easier to handle. The back of the axe head forms a hammer that can be used with the Splitting Wedge.
