The **WE Knife ÆternA** is an elegant pocket knife, designed by the famous knife maker and designer Elijah Isham. The design of the ÆternA clearly reflects Elijah Isham's design style. His designs are often enhanced with artistic organic shapes and wavy lines. Characterizing for his designs is the 'Edge Below Tab'. Here the edge is lower than the flipper which stays nice and hidden when the knife is opened. Once opened, a frame lock firmly holds the blade in place.

 The most special feature of the ÆternA is the beautifully designed handle. It is phenomenally produced and, as Elijah Isham calls it, a 'vertabral integral' construction. This means that the titanium part of the handle is made from one piece of titanium. A half integral handle, considering the fact that the carbon fibre handle is comprised of two parts. Both the titanium and carbon fibre blend beautifully, creating an optical effect. Very interesting! A subtle pocket clip and decorated hinge screw complete the handle.

 The ÆternA is easy to open with the unusual flipper. This is because it protrudes forwards in a closed position, instead of to the side, as we see on many pocket knives. The ÆternA has a blade made from M390 steel with an elegant cut-out in the blade. This cut-out not only looks amazing. Is also reduces the weight of the blade and you can use it as a thumb hole to open the blade. A special detail is the reversed-tanto tip.
