**The James Brand The Pike** is a modern take on the classic grandfather's knife: the slipjoint. This is a stunning knife that you can use to open boxes and peel apples. The James Pike has a Wharncliffe blade, made from Sandvik 12C27 steel. This is a Swedish steel that is corrosion-resistant and retains its sharpness well. You open it with two hands. It doesn't really lock, but a slipjoint ensures that it stays in place. Think of a Swiss pocket knife, which is enhanced with the same system. The pointed tip is perfect for the more detailed tasks.

The James brand logo inlaid on the handle is a very eye-catching feature. The handle is made from Sycamore. A beautiful wood with a lovely grain and a warm look and feel.
