I was looking for a good quality stainless steel camping knife, that can be used for fire wood prep and smaller jobs. This suits my needs as its quite a large blade yet light weight. I particularly like and trust Spyderco quality. I have tried a BK22 but they weigh a tonne and is tiring to use for extended periods + coated 1095 steel soon gets marked and scratched and the rough coating makes delicate cutting or food prep more difficult. I don't do lots of camping so a stainless blade makes sense to me as it shouldn't tarnish when stored. The Kydex style sheath is good quality and the unobtrusive belt clip is well designed.
