The **Spyderco Massad Ayoob CruWear** is a unique pocket knife in Sprint Run edition. Designed by the world-famous Massad Ayoob and originally introduced in 2001. The distinctive feature of this design is the negative angle between the blade and the handle. This aligns the blade with the forearm for a more direct transfer of power when pushing and cutting.

The blade is made from CPM CruWear. A popular type of steel that is wear and tear resistant. As such it retains its sharpness for a long time. Tthis type of tool steel, however, is not 100% stainless. So be careful around fruit acids and salt water. That is why a couple drops of oil once in a while will help keep it in great shape.

The handle is made from grey G10. A solid back lock mechanism locks the blade in position when opened. A great detail on this reissue is the pocket clip, which is faithful to the pocket clip on the 2001 version.
