This **Spyderco K11S utility knife** has a serrated, single-edge grind blade. This makes the knife perfect when cutting tomatoes and small sandwiches. The plastic handle has a nice pattern and a practical thumb stud, for optimal grip.

 ## The SpyderEdge: for a life of cutting pleasure.

 To make sure that this knife retains its sharpness well it has been enhanced with the famous SpyderEdge. The edge has serrations in two different sizes. Because the broad serrations don't wear out as fast as the narrower, pointier serrations, the knife doesn't have to be sharpened as often. A unique quality any Spyderco enthusiast will immediately recognize.

 ## Razor-sharp VG-10-blade

 The blade is produced in the Japanese knife city of Seki and made from top-quality VG-10-steel. This steel is fairly stainless, easy to sharpen and it retains its sharpness well.

 ## Spyder Hole: recognizable and functional!

 In addition, the blade has been enhanced with the recognizable spyder hole, the hole that serves as an opening mechanism for Spyderco pocket knives. In the case of this chef's knife this will, first and foremost, be a Spyderco style characteristic. We can, however, imagine that, perhaps not intentionally, it also has a functional purpose.
