The **Real Steel Ippon** is a remarkable and slim pocket knife, designed by Chad Los Banos. The name Ippon comes from Japanese martial arts where Ippon means 'one point'. The highest possible score. The Real Steel Ippon combines the best of the Asian knife world with western knife construction.



The blade on the Real Steel Ippon is made from Böhler N690 steel. Thin and razor-sharp. N690 is stainless and easy to sharpen. The shape of the blade might remind you of the traditional Japanese Kwaiken knives. The straight spine with ascending edge: it is for a reason that it has been a recipe for success for centuries.



The handle is made from a combination of G10 and steel liners. To save weight large holes were drilled into the liners, which, of course, you won't see from the outside. As such the Real Steel Ippon only weighs 90 grams, despite its total length of 20.5 cm.
